It might look normal from the outside, but the engineering inside this incredible new chain design that makes possible a gear range previously found only in 2-chainring drivetrains. And it's also the biggest contributor to the Eagle™ drivetrain's ultra-smooth, precise, durable and quiet performance.
The Eagle™ chain's links have a smooth radius, with no sharp edges or chamfers, which yield a significant reduction in noise, friction and wear on chainrings and cassette cogs. This design also allows for a flatter plate, which means more consistent chain riveting and greater overall strength. Hard Chrome™ technology extends the chain's optimal performance life, and a Titanium Nitride coating on the Gold and Black models decreases corrosion and further reduces friction.

Technologies:
- Flow Link: Ultra-smooth chain inner-plates are completely devoid of square edges, resulting in a chain that engages the cassette and chainring with far less friction, for quieter performance and better wear life. The design allows a narrower overall profile that can withstand greater angles, and also allows for a flatter outer-plate, which means more consistent chain riveting and enhanced overall strength.
- Hard Chrome: The SRAM Hard Chrome™ chain has four times the elongation (wear) resistance to their other chains. This is due to the new finishing process on the inner links and rollers. Pushpin strength and ultimate strength are equivalent to SRAM's current chains. The Hard Chrome™ chain lasts longer and is just as strong.
- PowerLock: SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock® as a tool free, sure, and consistent way to connect their chains. While PowerLock® does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10-, 11- and 12-speed drivetrains mandate that each PowerLock® is good for a one-time application only.
- X-Sync™: The SRAM X-Sync™ tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, helps manage a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-Sync™ chain rings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Engineered in Germany, X-Sync™ rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x™ drivetrain.

What do I do if an item fails once it's been used?
- All goods supplied by MySport are from official sources and are covered by the normal manufacturer's warranty. Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer or supplier for a warranty inspection before the outcome of the claim is decided. In some cases depending on how much time has passed between when the item was purchased and the fault occurred a repair may be made rather than a refund or replacement issued even if the warranty case is approved.
- Due to health and safety regulations, we request all used clothing to be washed prior to returning back to us and used footwear must also be cleaned. Failure to do this will result in us having to send them back to you, as we will be unable to inspect these goods.
What do I do if an item doesn't fit or I don't like the colour?
- You may cancel the contract within 14 days without stating a reason, either in written form (e.g. letter or e-mail) or by returning the goods when they have been handed over to you prior to the expiration of the term.
Who pays the postage on returned Items?
- If you return something due to it being unsuitable or not fitting correctly or if you return something due to it being faulty, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.
