Morgan Blue Brake Silencer Paste is a perfect example of the company's dedication to improving the overall cycling maintenance experience to optimize on the bike performance. With the increasing use of disc brakes in cyclocross and entry into pro road cycling, there has been a widespread effort to analyze and correct or improve some of the challenges posed by disc brakes. Rotor squeal is caused by numerous factors, but one consistent issue is movement or vibration between the disc caliper piston and the brake pad. A slight amount of play can cause uneven braking, and lead to squeaking. Enter Morgan Blue Brake Silencer Paste, a compound that you dab on the back of the brake pad and piston to minimize movement and vibration.
The synthetic paste has enough body and resilience to deliver a firmer interface. As with any other paste, fluid, or cleaner you don't want to get it on the front of your pads or rotors, just on the back of the pad an piston. Importantly, the paste is resistant to very high temperatures, as we all know that heat build-up can be an issue within disc braking systems. The product will not corrode pistons or pads, and is not water soluble, so it won't wash out in wet conditions. Now, there are several reasons for brake squeal, and Brake Silencer Paste addresses only one, but this is a key, consistent issue. Anyone who has ridden disc brakes has seen and felt pads moving and experienced brake chatter. What do I do if an item fails once it's been used?
- All goods supplied by MySport are from official sources and are covered by the normal manufacturer's warranty. Certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer or supplier for a warranty inspection before the outcome of the claim is decided. In some cases depending on how much time has passed between when the item was purchased and the fault occurred a repair may be made rather than a refund or replacement issued even if the warranty case is approved.
- Due to health and safety regulations, we request all used clothing to be washed prior to returning back to us and used footwear must also be cleaned. Failure to do this will result in us having to send them back to you, as we will be unable to inspect these goods.
What do I do if an item doesn't fit or I don't like the colour?
- You may cancel the contract within 14 days without stating a reason, either in written form (e.g. letter or e-mail) or by returning the goods when they have been handed over to you prior to the expiration of the term.
Who pays the postage on returned Items?
- If you return something due to it being unsuitable or not fitting correctly or if you return something due to it being faulty, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.
